Wal-Mart was as taxing as ever, and I was feeling it more than usual as my mom and I trekked out those doors. But the second I was out, I heard a noise that snagged my attention instantly--the mewling of little kittens. Like a bug drawn to light I went over to a man who stood beside a box of excited, chirping kittens that bounced around. I could hear mom say "Oh boy, here we go" as I knelt by the box.

So...CUTE. I had to hold all seven of them, and after cradling an especially cute black and white kitten to my chest, I looked to my mom. I didn't care if I was acting half my age, I didn't care who was watching--I gave her the most pleading, large puppy dog eyes I have ever done. Mom groaned and winced away from my eyes, but I knew I had her.

"No," she said, but it was already a lost battle. We agreed on a kitten, and as I carried it to the car, I couldn't stop from softly squealing and adoring the kitten who instantly attached to me. It felt wonderful to know that at least one of the kittens had a guaranteed good home to go to.

True story. =3 This is Suki, a Siamese cat with white paws, striped tail and legs, and calico ears. She wasn't in the greatest of health, but with considerable care she is already bouncing around and playful, and she's only been here since Monday. Enjoy!
